Recently renovated, the architecture alone is worth the visit, but inside you can find two rooms filled with 19th and 20th century American and European art works from the family’s private collection. Get lost in the Museum’s incredible19th century period rooms while marveling at the massive collection of paintings, sculpture, drawings and decorative arts. You’ll feel like you were transported to a Savannah of year’s past. The Telfair Museum is located at 121 Barnard St, Savannah, GA 31401.
