Who said “It ain’t Easy Being Green?” Savannah’s Annual Greening of the Forsyth Park Fountain is truly one of Savannah’s most unique traditions dating all the way back to 1984. On Friday, March 7th at 12 Noon, the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Committee Members & their Families will pour pitchers of Green Food Dye into the Forsyth Park Fountain to signify the start of the St. Patrick’s Day Season. Immediately after the Ceremony there will be a Tree Planting Ceremony at the Sidewalk in Front of the Parade Office on Liberty Street.
